Pokémon’s digital card dealer game is finally overhauled

While the physical card game from the Pokémon company is regularly updated with new sets, it has been years since an important refresh the companion digital platform, where collectors could digitize their prints and fight other players without worrying about damaging their precious pieces of shiny cardboard. Soon, however, that is about to change.

Today, following a handful of rumors about plans to roll out a new app, the Pokémon company announced the imminent arrival of Pokémon TCG Live, the successor of the old Pokémon TCG Online platform that was first deployed in 2012.

As was the case with Pokémon TCG Online, players will be able to add digital equivalents to physical cards they find in packs containing unique QR codes.
