Prior to 2021, Jordan Brand already had an impressive number of collaborations with musicians under his belt, from Travis Scott to Drake to J Balvin, and now the sportswear imprint is set to welcome another iconic pop artist to his family – Billie Eilish. Together, the two worked together on top shots of the Air Jordan 1 KO and Air Jordan 15, which have already been revealed through official images.
For the “Behind the Design” series of the Nike SNKRS app, Eilish revealed more details on his upcoming kicks. In an effort to be gentler on Earth’s resources, she worked with Jordan Brand to make offers that are 100% vegan and made with over 20% recycled materials. “I’ve always loved Jordan, and it was such a crazy, surreal, exciting and overwhelming experience to create them,” Eilish says. Like a big part of that was the aspect of durability. She also reveals that the Air Jordan 15 has always been her favorite silhouette since the day she discovered the Jordans, and that the Air Jordan 1 KO is one of her favorite models due to its portability and shape. .
Both pairs are expected to release via the Billie Eilish online store on September 27, with a Nike SNKRS launch to follow on September 30.
