Boris Johnson admits to having six children

The British Prime Minister, addressing Today’s NBC Show on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, an investigator asked him if he had six children, to which he replied “yes”.
The number of children Johnson fathered has been a topic of debate in British politics for many years, after an English court overturned an injunction prohibiting news agencies from reporting the existence of a girl as a result of ‘an extramarital affair.
Johnson has four children with ex-wife Marina Wheeler, an affair daughter and a son with wife Carrie Johnson, whom he married earlier this year.

Johnson told NBC it was “fantastic” to have a baby at 10 Downing Street, but it was also “a lot of work.”

“But I love it,” he added. “I change a lot of diapers.”

In August, Carrie Johnson announced on Instagram that the couple are expecting a second child and revealed that she had miscarried earlier in the year.

The couple’s son Wilfred was born in April 2020, shortly after Mr Johnson was hospitalized with symptoms of Covid-19 so severe he was admitted to an intensive care unit.

Wilfred, the couple have since said, were given Nicholas’ middle name as a tribute to doctors who the prime minister said saved his life following his Covid-19 illness.

It’s unclear why Johnson has now decided to confirm the existence of a child he has avoided talking about.
