Mama June’s BF Geno Doak enters rehab in South Carolina

Mom juneS’s ex-boyfriend finally seems to be getting the help he needs … because we’ve learned he’s been in rehab.

According to new legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Geno Doak was hospitalized in Fort Pierce, Florida earlier this month. It is not known why he landed in the hospital, but we do know that doctors referred him to a recovery center in South Carolina, and he visited that facility on Monday.

In the documents, the director of the center indicates that Geno will be a resident of the intensive long-term program and will have to commit for a minimum of 120 days. But, he also has the option of staying for up to a year if necessary.

The program is designed to help individuals develop their capacity for a healthy transition to a sober life … and all residents are required to seek employment and are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and their recovery.

The documents were filed in a loop in the judge of Geno’s crack case. As we reported … Mama June and Geno were both arrested in front of a Alabama gas station in March 2019 and charged with drug possession.

While their relationship status had remained uncertain for months, it was in August that June announced that Geno was no longer a part of her life, so many fans supposed they were separating.

Geno was sentenced to 16 months in Macon County Community Corrections. He wasn’t going to be physically behind bars, but had to follow a set of rules.

For example, he was supposed to move from Florida to Alabama within 30-45 days of his July conviction date… but he didn’t.
