One of the many things that sets Google’s search capabilities apart from others is its great personalized results. While this may make some users a little unsure of their privacy, it does make the search engine more accurate. If you don’t want your results to be personalized and tailored to your history, Google has added a new toggle in their app to turn it off completely.

“Personal Results” is the latest addition to an ever-growing list of settings for the Google app on Android (via 9to5Google). Unlike a standard app, this option is primarily a link that leads to a web page connected to your account. It’s something you can always find by digging through your account preferences in Chrome, but it’s now easily accessible from the Google mobile app itself.

Unfortunately, this is a unique situation. Personal results include multiple services, including autocomplete predictions, personalized responses pulled from Gmail or Maps, and recommendations based on your activity, but there’s no way to keep just one. or two activated. Instead, you’re stuck with just one toggle for all three options, with no visible flexibility. This isn’t a new problem for Google, but it shows just how inflexible the company can be at times. Either you are full or you are full – no middle ground options can apply.

We see this new toggle in Google 12.36, although it may be associated with a server-side update. Download the latest version from the Play Store link below or update using APK Mirror APK.
