Metallica have returned to touring by going back to their roots, playing surprise shows in very small capacity clubs. They performed a show in their hometown at Independent San Francisco last week, and on Monday night (September 20) they surprised Chicago with a show at the 1000 caps Metro, which they had not performed since. 1983.
