ESPN’s “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” viewership more than doubled in Week 2 coverage, attracting 1.9 million viewers, depending on the network. Viewership rose 138% from Week 1, which had 800,000 viewers.

ESPN’s Monday Night Football MegaCast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes drew 13.8 million viewers, making it MNF’s second most-watched Week 2 game since 2014. The numbers don’t include streaming audience on ESPN +.

During the Peyton and Eli Manning simulcast, the two brothers chatted with Hall of Fame member Brett Favre and Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski. The Packers, Favre’s former team, beat the Lions 35-17 on MNF.

The Mannings will return for the Week 3 broadcast of MNF from the Eagles to the Cowboys on ESPN2.
