For many, pumpkin–shaped candies are more exciting than pumpkin spice.
When it comes to fall, two things people immediately associate with the season are Halloween pumpkins and candy. A company that already combines the two is going even further this year.

Hershey announced the creation of a pumpkin themed with Reese’s peanut butter pumpkin. According to a press release, the candy-filled field was located at Krochmal Farms, near Salem, Massachusetts. The area is a popular tourist destination during the Halloween season due to the infamous witch trials.
The Krochmal Farms plot was filled with pumpkins and buckets filled with Reese’s pumpkins.
Guests could then choose a real pumpkin or pumpkin-shaped candies.

Clark Boyer, Senior Brand Manager for Seasons at Hershey, said: “When we think of pumpkins, we think of the perfection of chocolate and peanut butter… so we wanted to know if it was just us. here at the Reese brand. “
A competition was held in the field, where the number of pumpkins picked versus the number of Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins picked was tallied.
“While we love our farmhouse pumpkins, we can’t deny that we have a soft spot for Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins,” said the Cave family, owners of Krochmal Farms. “When the brand came to us asking to see how Krochmal Farms pumpkins compared to Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins, we were all ears.”

Reese will also ask fans to submit suggestions on social media for the location of her next pumpkin patch.
