Inactive Giants-Falcons: WR Kenny Golladay to play for New York

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Kenny Golladay will play for the New York Giants on Sunday when they host the Atlanta Falcons. Golladay, listed in Friday’s injury report as questionable with a hip injury, will be inactive.

The Giants signed Golladay to a four-year, $ 72 million contract this offseason in hopes he would be their No.1 wide receiver despite the 27-year-old who only played five games with the Lions from Detroit due to a hip injury.

Golladay was caught by cameras yelling at offensive coordinator Jason Garrett near the end of the Giants’ Week 2 loss to the Washington soccer team. Both sides played down the incident.

On Sunday, Golladay completed a pre-game training session roughly 2.5 hours before kick-off under the watchful eyes of receiver coach Tyke Tolbert and medical staff. The group held a lengthy field meeting after the training session was over.

Golladay has 7 receptions for 102 yards in the first two games.

Running back Devontae Booker, who served as Saquon Barkley’s replacement, is an inactive surprise for the Giants.
