Ron Rivera thinks Washington has “a long way to go” after losing to Buffalo

In the days leading up to Sunday’s game against the Bills, Washington head coach Ron Rivera said he viewed the game as an indicator of his team’s condition at this point in the season.

Things have not gone well for the Rivera club. They fell behind 21-0, then surrendered 22 straight points after reducing Buffalo’s lead to seven points in the second quarter. After the game, Rivera explained how he thought the measurement process went.

Buffalo racked up 481 yards in the 43-21 victory and the defensive shortcomings were constant for the first three weeks of the season.
