We learned a few days ago that pianists will be playing outside Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom again starting October 1st. also took place on October 1, 1971.

Morris also announced that Jim Omohundro has retired and that pianist Grayson Smith will replace him. Here is his full post:

It’s official – ! I will be playing piano at Casey’s Corner on the occasion of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary from its opening day, October 1, 2021. I was also playing there at the same place, then called Coke Corner, on the 1st October 1971, so it’s my 50th at Disney too! I’ll be sharing sets with Casey’s NEW local pianist, Grayson Smith! Grayson is a super nice guy and a good pianist. The wonderful Jim Omohundro has retired after many decades and he also deserves praise. Sets start at 11:10 am and I’ll do the first one. Phew!

As Morris said, he will play the first set at 11:10 am on October 1.
