Microsoft has been pushing its Xbox Game Pass service as hard as it can get throughout 2021, but how many subscribers do they actually have? The last time we heard it in January this year, Xbox Game Pass had 18 million subscribers, but the number has surely grown since then. Well, it looks like the number of subscribers is approaching a pretty big milestone!

In a recent Yahoo Finance “fireside chat” with Xbox boss Phil Spencer and 2K Games boss Strauss Zelnick, the latter blurted out that the Xbox Game Pass now has “around 30 million” dollars. subscriptions. The always sneaky Spencer didn’t take the hook, simply referring to the 18 million figure released in January, but he also didn’t take down Zelnick’s figure, remaining jovial throughout the exchange, which I have transcribed below.
