BIZKIT BOX released a new single titled “Papa Vibes”. The track, which was originally created during the band’s concert at Lollapalooza in July, was made available via Suretone Records and THERE ARE.
BIZKIT BOX hasn’t released a new studio album since 2011 “Golden Cobra”, although the group has spent a lot of time writing and recording music over the past decade.
“Papa Vibes” arrives weeks later BIZKIT BOX has canceled all of his previously announced live appearances for 2021, explaining in a statement that he was doing so “out of great caution and concern for the safety of the group, the team and especially the fans.”
BIZKIT BOX was scheduled to perform at several festivals this summer and fall, including Replica, The blue crest, Rebel rock and Rocklahoma.
A few days after the cancellation of the summer 2021 shows, BIZKIT BOX leader Fred durst told Billboard the decision: “In short, the system is still very flawed. Even though artists, crews, staff and promoters do their best to ensure safety on and behind the stage, this does not guarantee the safety of the public as a whole. We are all in the same boat, and we must all – individually and as a whole – do our best to be as responsible and proactive as possible to move forward to combat and stop the spread of COVID. ”
Durst also denied that there was a specific incident that prompted him and his group mates to unplug the trek, saying it was “just a perception”.
Durst made headlines in late July when he debuted his new look at the band’s concert at the Metro in Chicago, the frontman now sporting salt-and-pepper wavy locks accompanied by a horseshoe mustache.
Eight LIMP BIZKIT tracks landed on the Billboard 200, including two topping the charts – “Significant Other” in 1999 and “Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water” in 2000.
