Christopher Judge, the voice actor behind Kratos in 2018 God of the war, Posted on Twitter Thursday blame the delay of 2022 God of War Ragnarok about himself and his health. After thanking fans, Judge also revealed that he “leaves” the role of Kratos when Cory Barlog – the director of 2018 God of the war – told him that God of War Ragnarok would have another director. Barlog assured the judge that Eric Williams, the director behind Ragnarok, is “a beast”. The judge ended his tweet by confirming that Williams is, in fact, “a fucking BEAST !!!”
While Judge appears to be hard on himself, God of War fans flooded his responses to the initial tweet with love and support for the actor’s well-being.
We reached out to Sony for a comment on Judge’s tweets.
God of War Ragnarok arrives on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 next year, although Sony Interactive Entertainment has not announced a specific release date.
