Shakira and her son survive wild boar attack in Barcelona

“She Wolf” singer Shakira said she and her son survived a boar attack and lived to talk about it. Which brings up the question: maybe it was a wild boar in disguise?

The Grammy-winning international pop star shared the swine story Wednesday on Instagram. She said she and her 8-year-old son Milan recently encountered the wild boars in a park in Spain and the animals fled with her purse and cell phone.

But the “Hips Don’t Lie” frontman managed to fend them off angry pigs.

“Watch how the two wild boars that attacked me in the park left my bag,” the 44-year-old Spanish man said, focusing the camera on the damaged accessory. “They were taking my bag into the woods with my phone inside. They destroyed everything.

In a satisfied tone, the Colombian-Lebanese singer argued that the savage aggressors left the bag because she confronted them.

Shakira then turned the camera towards her son, asking him to corroborate his story: “Tell how your mother resisted the boar.”

Milan left conscientiously.

According to the BBC, the singer was attacked in a Barcelona park and is the latest victim of the aggressive pigs that have taken over the Catalan capital in recent years. Wild boars are among the most invasive species in the world and can survive in almost any environment, but they are increasingly attracted to urban areas where they live off the waste dumped by humans.

Or delicacies like luxury handbags.

Representatives for Shakira – or the boars – were not immediately available for comment on Thursday.

The viral distraction follows a Spanish judge’s decision in July to take the singer’s tax evasion case to court, according to the Associated Press. She denied any wrongdoing when she testified in June 2019 and reportedly reimbursed the $ 16.4 million in taxes she owed.
