The Cincinnati Bengals made the following roster changes ahead of their Week 4 clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars:
- High Security Trayvon Henderson of the active roster training team for tonight’s game against Jacksonville (standard elevation). The team’s active roster now stands at 54 players. As a player on the practice squad being elevated to the active roster for the game, Henderson will return to the practice squad on Friday.
- Placed tight end Thaddeus Moss on the training / injury roster with a head and neck injury. A second-year LSU Tigers player, Moss will be able to return to training after three games.
It’s a great opportunity for Henderson to record some important playing time as fellow safety Jessie Bates is sidelined with a neck injury. He’s been with the Bengals since the 2018 season after being undrafted from Hawaii, but he’s only made eight career games and managed one tackle.
As for Moss, this is an unfortunate setback after missing his entire rookie season last year with a foot injury. Hopefully he will be able to come back in three weeks and continue his development as he fights for a place in the active roster.
