ABC’s most recent Bachelor Clayton Echard was pictured on the set of the franchise for the first time, as filming began with the Ritual Encounter.
In images obtained by DailyMail.com, the 28-year-old former footballer was seen preparing to meet his multitude of 30 beauties at the $ 4.4 million Bachelor Mansion in Agoura Hills, Calif. on Wednesday night.
Viewers have yet to meet Echard as he was a contender for Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette which premieres October 18.

One big night indeed, Echard was photographed looking a little nervous as he strolled alongside a producer who gave him a pep talk.
The 6-foot-4-inch native of Eureka, Missouri, who works in orthopedic sales, was decked out in a fitted navy suit with a matching tie and black dress shoes.
As he settled into the Bachelor Mansion, his potential fiancees were photographed leaving a nearby hotel and boarding limousines accompanied by production staff.
Five women were seen outside: three in gold sequined dresses, another stunning in a black strapless dress and another beauty in green.

Another contestant hoped to make a memorable first impression by donning a sexy doctor’s outfit with a stethoscope around her neck.
Crew members were seen carrying champagne and wine in waiting limos, to help the ladies relax as they prepared for a very important introduction.
According to Reality Steve, the women are expected to move into the Bachelor Mansion on Thursday, with first dates starting on Friday. The date of the group would involve a birthday party and children.
On September 15, Variety announced that Erhard was the Season 26 bachelor after E! News photos surfaced where he was looking to do a promotional shoot.
According to Variety, the producers fell in love with Echard while he was filming Young’s season, although his casting caused some complications as his first Bachelorette season has yet to air.

Prior to settling on Clayton, sources said the network met other men from Katie Thurston’s season – including Gregg Gripo – as well as current-season contestants of Bachelor In Paradise.
A source told Us Weekly ‘Clayton stood out from the start.
“The producers ended up going with him because they thought he was best suited for the role. They wanted to change things up and go with someone new and someone who was not yet under the spotlights.
Echard played for the Missouri Tigers in 2012 as a tight end and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent in 2016.
In a statement on LinkedIn, he said ‘I passed the first round of cups, however, I couldn’t make the final list. Nevertheless, it was a unique experience that I had the chance to be a part of.

On September 16, Echard said in a video obtained by the St. Louis Fox News affiliate: “I’m excited. I’m also very, very nervous, and trying to find my person.”
Following Chris Harrison’s departure from the franchise, Jesse Palmer, a TV host and Bachelor Season 5 alumnus, has been selected to host the show’s 26th season, which will air next year.
As the season kicks off amid the ongoing coronavirus, a source told The Sun there are “there are a lot of hoops to go through with the Covid protocols,” but ideally as much of the season as possible will be filmed at the Bachelor mansion.
It was added that the production has “another recourse as a back-up that they might end up using” as the show “runs into new hurdles every day.”
