The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 roadmap has been released and map changes are in the spotlight. The stadium and city center are destroyed, WWII bunkers are added, and the original shower gulags return.
Warzone fans didn’t like the Season 5 event, Numbers, because it was particularly boring (and, sonically, quite boring). But expectations for Season 6 increased when it was announced that the stadium and downtown points of interest (points of interest) could be demolished.
Well, now we have confirmation that not only are these two locales changed (via destruction), but other major map changes are happening when Season 6 drops on October 7th.
The bunkers are also returning to Verdansk, but this time they will be themed around WWII. And, in a wave of major nostalgia, the original shower gulags are making a comeback – albeit seemingly with a few tweaks.
Warzone Season 6: Destruction of the stadium and the city center
Look at Stadium, man, he’s not very healthy.
As seen in the Season 6 cinematic trailer and now confirmed with the roadmap update notes, explosions are expected to cause massive cracks in the stadium and in the city center.
It’s unclear what their range will be or if they will even hit the tallest of the buildings in the city center, but players will likely be happy to see some variety in what has become one of the more camped out sections. from the menu.
Warzone Season 6: Revelation of WWII Bunkers
New to us old in the world: WWII bunkers are coming in Season 6.
This is an interesting change and one that few, if any, saw coming: Bunkers are returning to Verdansk, but these aren’t the ones players might remember from the Modern Warfare era.
Instead, the developers revealed that they were “old German war bunkers” and would tease what fans can expect once Warzone integrates with CoD Vanguard.
Warzone Season 6: Return of OG Gulag
After having miniaturized, season after season, the retro Black Ops maps for the Warzone Gulag, the developers are breaking the model. And in doing so, players will return to a space as classic as any in Verdansk’s history: the shower gulags.
While the developers have mentioned that “the arena might not be what you remember it to be,” it’s nonetheless exciting to see many gamers’ favorite gulag come back from the dead. Now we’ll just have to wait until Season 6 to find out who’s ready to take the showers and come back from the dead themselves.
