New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick reiterated the obvious on Friday.
At his pre-game press conference against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the legendary NFL leader was asked if he would have had the same success without the quarterback. Belichick replied: “Of course not.”

“We talked about it for two decades. I think I’ve been taped dozens of times saying there wasn’t a quarterback I would rather have than Tom Brady. That’s always what I do. feels. I was very lucky to have Tom as the quarterback and coach him. He was as good as any coach could ever ask for, “he said.
Sunday night’s game is one of the most anticipated of the season.
Brady downplayed the importance of the trip to Foxborough, saying it was more of a business trip and he’s trying to achieve victory. He said he hadn’t “given too much thought” to his feelings of returning to Gillette Stadium and then out of the tunnel to the pitch.

“I haven’t thought about it too much. I’m just going to try and do what I always do: go be a great quarterback. Obviously I understand the opponent, I know all these guys, they’re some of my Good guys. friends [and] they will be for the rest of my life, “Brady said Thursday.” I know a lot of coaches, players, owners, staff. It will be great to see everyone after the game, but until the game my focus is on trying to win a football game. “

Brady also praised Belichick.
“He’s a great coach, obviously a great coach. [He] has everyone prepared, did a great job of that. Obviously, I’ve said it before, [he] taught me a lot. He has been a great mentor to me for a long time and I really enjoyed my time in New England. But, at the same time, I’m super excited about what we’ve been doing here. I have a great group of coaches here, an amazing group of guys who always motivate me and inspire me to be the best I can be for this team and this organization, ”said Brady.

“The last 18 months have been very rewarding in many ways, and I also love my football experience here. I was very lucky. I went there. [to] football in high school, where I fell in love with [football]. I went to Michigan which was amazing for me – there were challenges but I learned a lot. The 20 years spent in New England have been incredible. I learned a lot. Coming here for a year and a half, I have learned a lot. I only have incredible thoughts, memories, emotions towards all types of football experiences that I have had. It’s obviously the one that’s been the longest, and I still have a lot of good friends there, but they know I want to kick their ass this week. They will know exactly how I feel once I get there. “
