In a big night full of premieres for ABC, NBC took the audience crown with the final episode of Law and Order: SVU. The latest episode of the NBC drama series was the top-rated Thursday prime-time program, scoring 0.8 in the 18-49 demo and 4.71 million viewers, by Fast Affiliates. The NBC series was down slightly from last week’s premiere, but slightly overshadowed the Season 5 debut of Station 19, among others.
NBC’s retention has been fairly stable with the two-hour payout of Law & Order: Organized (0.7; 4.21 million) of delinquency decreasing by only one tenth and by approximately 10% of the number of televiewers compared to its introduction.
Despite the lack of Law and Order: SVU in the odds, the Station 19 the premiere (0.7, 4.78million) topped viewers on Thursday, offering the Season 18 premiere of Grey’s Anatomy (0.7, 4.63M), which once again welcomed a familiar face, with a solid foundation. Despite being among the top spots in Thursday’s prime-time issues, the two Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy fell from their November 2020 premieres. From their June final grades, Station 19 pink but Grey’s Anatomy slipped just a bit.
Big skyThe debut of ABC’s second season brought ABC’s night to a close, prompting a shocking appearance. Thursday’s episode (0.4, 3.13million) was down from the November premiere of the first season (0.6, 4.03million), but stable in viewership and up from its S1 final in May (0.4, 2.87 million).
For Fox, the first series of The big jump and Our kind of people got a second prime-time go-around, with each rerun not exceeding its original debut in terms of viewership and viewership.
CBS Thursday culminated with the two-hour broadcast of The price is just celebrating its 50th anniversary. Drew Carey hosted the show special, which received a 0.5 demo rating and 3.79 million viewers.
The outpost, with only one episode remaining as The CW shared that it would not be renewing the fantasy drama for a fifth season, was the night’s least-watched program and on par with Coroner for the least rated.
