Kelly’s ex argued that the ranch was “matrimonial property,” but the judge ruled that it fell under the marriage contract shared by the exes, making the pop star the sole owner.

Sources told TMZ that Kelly, 39, was working to kick Brandon off the ranch, but he’s not helping matters.

Kelly is officially a single woman a few weeks ago following her dramatic divorce from Brandon, with whom she shares two children.

While the divorce is finalized, details on a few issues, including ownership and custody disputes, are still pending.

The Voice coach filed for divorce in June 2020, citing “irreconcilable differences”, before obtaining primary custody of their two children.

According to court documents filed in August, the singer was declared legally single and her maiden name was restored.

Kelly “celebrated on the set of The Voice” after discovering that her marriage contract, which stated that all the money she made during the marriage was hers, was “confirmed”.

The singer was filming the popular reality TV competition series when she received an email saying her rock-solid marriage contract had been upheld by the court.

The document itself “separates all the assets and income from her marriage to Brandon Blackstock,” TMZ revealed at the time.

Upon hearing the news, Kelly “let out a cry” which then led to a full celebration.

The hitmaker amassed the majority of the couple’s assets, including the Montana ranch where Brandon lived, which is why the judge ruled in his favor on the property.

She was also the sole owner of the ranch.

Court documents obtained exclusively by The Sun show that Brandon has officially given up the life of showbiz since their split to become a full-time breeder.

BACK TO MEETINGS

A source recently revealed that Kelly is set to return to the dating scene after her tumultuous divorce.

The insider explained, “She’s not dating and is waiting to be legally divorced, which will be within the next two weeks.

“She wants a young and promising country singer [who] understands the business. “

During an interview with Kevin Hart, the chart star told the actress that she had “no example” of a good relationship growing up because her father was absent from her life.

She said she “didn’t grow up” with her father and “didn’t know him at all,” something she said, “a lot” of people are going through.
