The Colts’ early-season struggles continue.
All-Pro goalie Quenton Nelson landed on the injured reserve. The team announced the move on Saturday.
He will have to miss at least three games. Nelson had previously been excluded from Sunday’s game in Miami, due to ankle and knee injuries.
The Colts also elevated safety Ibraheim Campbell and quarterback Brett Hundley to the active training roster for Sunday’s game.
With quarterback Carson Wentz (ankles) questionable, Hundley becomes an option in case Wentz does have to quit. At a minimum, he would be Jacob Eason’s replacement, if Wentz can’t continue – or if, for some reason, he doesn’t start.
