MADISON, Wisconsin – Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz left Saturday’s game against Michigan’s No.14 after being sacked early in the third quarter.
The Badgers said Mertz and tight end Jake Ferguson went to the locker room with chest injuries. They were sidelined for the rest of the game.
Michigan’s Daxton Hill sacked Mertz on a third-and-nine play in the first set of the third quarter. Mertz was on the ground for a few minutes before heading to the sideline, entering the medical tent and heading to the locker room.
