Following the announcement that members of the International Alliance of Theater Workers’ television and film production voted yes to the strike, IATSE Local 631 President Paul Cox confirmed that the strike would not involve members of the Walt Disney World cast.
The strike vote concerns the Hollywood Basics Agreement and the Area Standards Agreement which do not affect the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Agreement.
IATSE Local 631 represents around 2,000 Cast Members.
