Leah Remini and Ellen DeGeneres flaunted their playful friendship on television on Tuesday.
The “King of Queens” actress, 51, is appearing on the DeGeneres talk show, which is currently in its final season. As the Halloween season approached, Remini was in the middle of a conversation with DeGeneres, 63, about his love for scaring family members.
“Like my daughter, I think it’s normal for a parent to scare their children. My mother did to me. It’s only natural that this trauma then be inflicted on my child, right?” Remini told the host via E! New.
Remini went on to share examples of times she and her husband, Angelo Pagan, tried to “traumatize” her daughter and friends in her home with “elaborate” setups. She was explaining another stunt when a nervous Remini shifted her head back and forth and started looking over her shoulders.

“No because you’re acting really interested so I don’t know if you’re doing that thing where you’re like in my story,” Remini told her friend with a smile.
“I’m still interested. What do you mean I’m interested?” DeGeneres responded, to which Remini said in a louder, joking tone: “You are not Ellen!”
Remini then got out of his seat and slapped DeGeneres twice on the arm, and missed the third try. DeGeneres withdrew her arm from the chair she was sitting on and reacted, “Ouch! This is my last season. Don’t hurt me!”
“I love you, I miss you, and I’m so happy to be here in your last season. But anyway, thanks for having me. Come back to me,” Remini said with a laugh.

Although awkward, the moment in front of the camera didn’t seem like a big deal as both of them laughed at it. Remini continued to tell another story when she had one of her assistants hide in the car of her dance teacher dressed as a painter and with a “butcher’s knife from my kitchen”.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will end in 2022 after Season 19 ends.

“I was laughing, laughing at the thought and they straightened up and he was like ‘it didn’t work’,” said a disappointed Remini.
Remini’s appearance also included photos from her past visits to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which date back years when Remini was pregnant with her now teenage daughter.
The former Scientologist admitted she struggled to watch her high school daughter grow up. “I can’t even bear the thought of her leaving [for college]”, added Remini.

DeGeneres announced months ago that Season 19 will be its final season after a year of controversy that has called into question the host’s conduct at work and her general demeanor.
