Nintendo has unveiled the Last Fighter DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Tuesday morning. But in his final presentation, game director Masahiro Sakurai also revealed that Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts games are coming to Nintendo Switch.

All Kingdom Hearts titles and their collections will arrive on Nintendo’s latest console, including Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3. The first two games include the original PlayStation 2 games and all of the bizarre spin-offs that came from them.

Sakurai has not revealed a Switch release date for Kingdom Hearts titles, whose series celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022. But Sakurai has said so. Kingdom Hearts 3 will only be available in a cloud version, which means it will need internet support to function properly.

A Nintendo follow-up announcement tweet revealed that all Kingdom Hearts games will be Cloud versions, although it is not clear if all older games will require this support. All three packages will arrive on Switch in one title.

Nintendo and Square Enix will reveal more information about the Kingdom Hearts games and their Switch debut at a later date.
