The headlining game for Week 5 in the NFL is set to go to last season’s AFC Championship rematch. The Kansas City Chiefs won this one, 38-24, but let’s not forget that the Buffalo Bills silenced Patrick Mahomes for the entire first quarter until the Chiefs came back with a vengeance.
And while this Week 5 rematch isn’t nearly as close to the stakes as this one, it’s still important. Josh Allen and the Bills look like an AFC buzzsaw after strangling their last three opponents to a combined score of 118-21. On the other hand, the Chiefs must hope that their Week 4 win over the Eagles – a game in which Mahomes threw five touchdowns – was a step in the right direction after a few initial hiccups from the previous weeks.
