We recently wrote an exclusive report on the likely specs for the new Tensor chip on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. This includes basic configurations as per part numbers as well as other information such as codecs. We also covered an exclusive Google Pixel 6 leak with information straight from the phone itself. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the Pixel 6 series, and that’s partly because it’s the biggest generational leap of any Pixel device to date.
According to previous leaks and rumors, the Google Pixel 6 series could cost € 649 and € 899 in Europe – the cheapest being the standard model and the most expensive being the Pro model. The same source that provided those pricing details said it will launch on October 19 and go on sale from October 28. So far, it seems to be holding up. We expect a new Pixel Stand to launch alongside the Pixel 6 series, along with new fancy fabric cases. The Pixel 6 series would also have a 5G modem from Samsung instead of Qualcomm, with ultra-broadband support and Wi-Fi 6E as well.
It’s shaping up to be the best pixel set yet, and we look forward to the company’s launch event on October 19. For your convenience, the 10:00 a.m. PT launch time is 1:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. in Ireland and UK, and 1:00 a.m. in GMT + 8.
