This is Pokémon Day and Nintendo has something special for Pokémon fans. A new Pokémon Direct presentation promises about seven minutes of "new information" about the Pokémon world.
Today's current Pokémon Direct will start at 9 am ET / 6 am PT. You can watch the presentation in streaming, via YouTube, in the video above. The presentation will also be broadcast on Twitch.
What should we expect? Well, Nintendo and Game Freak developer promise a new "heart" game for Pokémon for Nintendo Switch, which should mean the arrival of eighth generation Pokémon. This new Pokémon title should be released in 2019.
Pokémon Direct's previous presentations addressed the new games in the Pokémon series, and have even announced new versions, such as Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Of course, there are many non-essential versions of Pokémon to discuss, including the latest Pokémon: Let's go! Games Pokemon Go for mobile devices, and the next live movie, Detective Pikachu.
