Wallace won the rain-cut YellaWood 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway on Monday for Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing, becoming the second black rider to claim victory in the series.

It was also the first victory for a McDonald’s sponsored car since Jimmy Spencer won the Pepsi 400 at Daytona in 1994.

Jimmy Spencer beat Ernie Irvan by just 0.008 of a second to win the 1994 Pepsi 400 at Daytona.

McDonald’s now uses the Twitter handle “bubba wallace stan account” and has added a graphic that says “bu bba ba ba ba” which plays its commercial jingle with its image as a profile picture.

The account also pinned a tweet that read “you can’t spell @BubbaWallace without the W”.

Wallace will try his second victory at the Charlotte Roval on Sunday, October 10 as the 12th round of the Cup playoffs draws to a close.
