Left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot), defensive end Leonard Williams (knee) and safety Jabrill Peppers (hamstrings) were among six New York Giants who did not train on Wednesday.
The others were wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstrings), wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstrings) and tight end Kaden Smith (knee).
Peppers suffered a hamstring injury against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Slayton and Shepard were both out of that game with their injuries. Thomas and Williams, however, are new additions to the Giants’ injury roster.
Thomas, the starting left tackle, has yet to clear a sack this season. The extent of his injury is unknown. If Thomas wasn’t available, Matt Peart would likely slip into the lineup on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Williams has a sack and is the most accomplished passing runner for a team that is only 31st in the league in terms of pass win rates, per ESPN.
