The vice president of park attractions has written a letter to team members about the closure. They don’t know what else will be at Shrek’s in the park.

The Mummy is such a popular attraction, so it will be difficult for our guest, but we will reopen with the necessary technical improvements. Of course, we’ll be temporarily relocating valuable Mummy team members while the ride is down. “
“Additionally, we made the difficult decision to permanently shut down Shrek 4D in January 2022. This attraction has run smoothly and is loved by our guests. Thank you to everyone who helped serve the nearly 75 MILLION guests. over the past 18 years. As with Mom, we will be moving all affected TMs and celebrating our last days with our guests and TM. More details to come on this. As soon as there are new details on this what Shrek will be, you’ll be the first to know. The future is sure to look bright here at Universal Orlando.
