Tame Impala has announced a deluxe boxed edition of Slow running, featuring B-sides and remixes from the 2020 album. They also shared one of those remixes, the remix of “Breathe Deeper” by Lil Yachty. The Deluxe Edition will be released on February 18, 2022 via Interscope. The physical version comes in a 2xLP package with new artwork, a 40-page booklet, and a 2050 calendar. The album features two unreleased B-sides, the original and remixed versions of “Patience”, as well as expanded versions and additional remixes. Regarding the ‘Breathe Deeper’ remix, Lil Yachty said in a statement, “It was so amazing working with Kevin [Parker] because I’ve been a huge fan since high school so it was a pleasant surprise and an honor to be a part of such an amazing song.
The group is currently touring North America after a report related to COVID-19. After the tour was announced, Parker apologized that not all of the shows originally scheduled were booked.
