The ADA News on Thursday launched an Instagram account to help dental professionals stay up to date with dental news and information through the popular photo-sharing app, just in time for SmileCon.
To celebrate the unveiling of @TheADANews, subscribers and those who tag two or more of their friends in the comments section will be entered for a chance to win a $ 100 gift card. A winner will be drawn on October 18.
Through visual stories, photos and videos, @TheADANews enables the Official Journal of the American Dental Association to connect Instagram readers and users with timely information on scientific, social, political and economic developments affecting the dentistry and health care.
The launch comes just days before SmileCon, scheduled for October 11-13 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Those following @TheADANews will see some of the highlights as ADA News editors cover the redesigned ADA annual meeting. These include the opening and closing sessions, stimulating continuing education classes, and fun activities throughout the event.
