Bella Hadid turns 25! Model receives birthday tributes from Vogue and Dua Lipa

Bella Hadid rang her 25th birthday on Saturday surrounded by close family and friends.

And on her special day, the model naturally received gushing tributes from those close to her and a special nod from industry heavyweight Vogue.

The fashion house created a video in honor of Hadid that recounted her striking “some iconic model poses” as she wore Parisian couture.

In honor of her birthday, Vogue compiled behind-the-scenes footage of Bella from their 2019 digital cover shoot, which celebrated the big design and her as a model.

The post marveled that she had “triumphantly conquered” a range of fashion looks, including “streetwear, normcore and Insta-cool,” before writing, “Hello, Bella of the day.”

The video showed Bella getting ready for the shoot before slipping into the famous red Givenchy dress with a Koché ostrich feather hat – which she had worn on the blanket.

Bella also received a tribute from her brother Anwar’s girlfriend, Dua Lipa, who she revealed also sent her a balloon bounty – for which she thanked her “sweet pie”.

‘Happy birthday to that ray of light from a woman. You are so loved !! Grateful for you sister, rainbows for you always xx, ”the Levitating singer wrote.

Hadid’s best friend Jesse Jo Stark – the daughter of Chrome Hearts founder and girlfriend of Yungblud – also paid tribute to her by posting a photo of them on a beach vacation.

Papa Mohamed Hadid also shared a carousel of images on his Instagram page and wrote “What not to like?” Before giving a list of many royal titles: “Her Royal Highness the Princess of Nazareth and the Princess of Palestine”.

And mom, Yolanda Hadid has posted her usual set of returning images of Bella over the years, which have included footage of her on horseback and other milestone moments from childhood.

Writing a long caption, she wrote in an excerpt: “I am incredibly proud of the resilient young woman you have become as you navigate your life with so much kindness and grace !!

“The brightest stars come out of the darkness and a bright star is what you are my sweet angel, don’t let anyone or anything darken that beautiful light in you!”

Yolanda went on to say that “her greatest asset is not the outward beauty that people see, but your inner beauty, the magnetic force that you carry in your heart.”

And Donatella Versace said in her tribute: “Celebrate in the MOST MAJOR way possible. You are beautiful inside and out and I miss you !! ‘

Bella spent a low-key day with her family cooking a Palestinian feast in New York City, as she shared a video of Anwar making homemade falafel balls, before showing the full broadcast.

It was not known whether sister Gigi Hadid was present for the day’s festivities or Bella’s boyfriend Marc Kalman, 33, but she is keeping the relationship private.

The couple started dating in July 2020, but kept things very under the radar until she went official on Instagram with the art director in a now-deleted post.

“They hid it well,” a source told Page Six of the relationship. “They were very diligent not to be seen on a public street at the same time,” adding that there was “never a PDA”.

The post added that they were frequently seen with groups of friends, which made it difficult to discern that they were dating, until she was spotted driving a group in her Porsche, which was then seen left at home “overnight on several occasions”.
