Royal author Matthew Dennison told Fox News the Queen, 95, has turned to her Christian faith to help her overcome the ongoing drama shaking the palace.
“She has a strong religious faith,” he explained. “One of the things the Queen has done is pray through it all. She also has a loyal and supportive group of private secretaries, ladies-in-waiting and devoted friends who have built a strong system around it. from her. She also has the support of her close-knit family. “
“She struggles to cope with difficult issues,” he noted. “I think she got better over time.”
Dennison, who has written eight critically acclaimed books, recently wrote “The Queen,” a new biography that explores the decades of Elizabeth’s reign. He spoke to several palace initiates, past and present, to tell the story of the Queen. Dennison said that during his research faith played a prominent role in the royal’s life.

Dennison said he hopes his book teaches readers the most important lesson the Queen has demonstrated over the years – duty comes first.
“There was one thing that was clearly understood, certainly in Britain,” he said. “When the queen ascended the throne in 1952, [her goal] was not to be a celebrity. It wasn’t to be a movie star. It’s not that kind of role. The dominance of celebrity culture these days has made it difficult for people to differentiate between royalty and fame. Elizabeth became queen in 1952 after the death of her father, King George VI. She was officially crowned in 1953 and reigned longer than any other monarch in British history.
According to the Royal Family website, the Queen has ties as Royal Patron Saint or President to more than 600 charities, military associations, professional bodies and public service organizations.
