BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) – State Police have made an arrest for the murder of Sharon Benyo.

State Police said John Westley Johnson of Beaver Falls was arrested on Saturday.

He was located at his home and arrested without incident.

Johnson is currently housed at the Beaver County Jail.
An autopsy showed Sharon Benyo, 46, shot twice in the head after her body was found by a gas pipe worker near 51 Constitution Boulevard.
Benyo had recently been released from jail and it was unclear where she lived or what she did, according to the Beaver County District Attorney.
Johnson faces homicide charges.
