Donald Trump NIH Director Begs Evangelicals to “Examine Evidence” on Vaccines for refuting stolen election allegations, said on Sunday that Republican Party leaders had “lost control” of the party’s electoral base.
During her appearance on “Face the Nation” on CBS, Margaret Brennan asked Krebs if he thought Trump was trying to undermine the upcoming election, noting that the former president had said at a recent rally that he was seeking to completely overhaul the American electoral system.
“Without a doubt. This is happening at four different levels, both state legislatures and state elected officials, some of the candidates for secretary of state in Arizona and Georgia. But we also see [it] in the US Congress, ”Krebs said.

Brennan noted that this was an extraordinary remark for Krebs, a longtime Republican, and asked how these claims continue to play out.
“They are afraid to speak out because they are afraid that the former president will try to elect them and then the other element is that they have activated and lost control of their voting base, the people who are going to put them in power, ”Krebs said.
“It’s got out of hand. Again, it’s a death spiral. They’ve lost control and they don’t have the ability to control it,” Krebs added.
