Judge Judy Sheindlin’s longtime bailiff Petri Hawkins-Byrd said he was not invited to join her on her new IMDB TV show, “Judy Justice,” after working with the celebrity for 25 years.
Byrd is perhaps best known to fans as the pragmatic bailiff who made sure no one crossed the courtroom line in the courtroom on “Judge Judy.” He was with the show until it ended in 2021. She worked as a longtime producer on “Judge Judy” and was reportedly a guest on “Judy Justice”, but health issues made that impossible.
The media reported that she had just completed her third round of chemotherapy and was about to undergo brain surgery, where doctors successfully removed 95% of a tumor. After the worst of his family conflict was behind him, Byrd says he called his former boss to ask if he should consider appearing on his new show after working with her since 1996.
