Facebook Messenger adds the "dark mode" hidden before iOS 13

As shown in a Reddit thread, FaceBook has added a "hidden" setting in FaceBook Messenger that allows you to turn dark mode on or off.

How to enable dark mode in FaceBook Messenger

1. Just send emoji to anyone (or even to yourself).
2. Tap the emoji of the moon in the cat after sending it.
3. A popup window should appear to indicate that you have found the mode dark.
4. Go to the settings and you should see it here.
5. You may need to force the closing of the FaceBook Messenger application and restart it before typing on the Moon emoji will work.

It seems that FaceBook is testing the dark mode in a more limited way, with some users having reported having already seen it before. The secret method to activate dark mode works both under Android and iOS. According to rumors, Apple would add a dark mode in iOS 13, which is expected to debut at WWDC 2019.
