It was as if it was yesterday when John Mulaney welcomed Saturday Night Live. In fact, it's actually over the past 12 months that the famous comedian has returned to his land to take over as an interpreter instead of his previous role as author. This does not mean that he was not part of the well-being of the series in his day, with great characters such as Stefan, resulting from his stint at 30 Rock.
Mulaney was the kind of host Saturday Night Live Currently, this season's highly successful performances are excellent musical performances and a block of outstanding weekend updates. That's about it. The rest of the show was fragile, pre-recorded sketches for cold openings, recurring sketches and production.
What John brought last time was a tremendous collaborative effort, both heterosexual man and humorist in his sketches last time. His comic experience allows him to bring home more complicated and nuanced ideas in the sketches as well as there were sightings that had happened to him for the stage; a perfect combination to allow authors to be creative.
I do not know much about Thomas Rhett's music, although he has been working regularly for a decade. He recently released a Grammy-nominated country album and has just announced his next album 2019, Center Point Road, just yesterday. You can expect to hear his recently released single, "Look What God Gave Him", as he passed by.
