INDIANAPOLIS – Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence reportedly suffered a leg injury in his first and only 40-yard scorecard run at the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday. He was subsequently seen with a bag of ice wrapped around his left quad and would not participate in the rest of the training session, according to Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network.

Lawrence recorded a great time for his height (6 feet 4 inches, 342 pounds), with 5.05 seconds, despite the injury. He is ranked 31st in the NFL 2019 Rankings by Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Network Analyst.

Clemson Professional Day is scheduled for March 14th. So he only has a little more than a week to recover in time to be able to train at this event. The injury outlook also held their personal day at a later date than their school in the past, so it could also be an option for Lawrence.
