It seems that Sony Interactive Entertainment is offering refunds to Anthem owners, no questions asked.
Earlier today, an unhappy Anthem The player went to the Reddit page of the game to let off steam about the problems with BioWare's new booty shooter. As you may know, many players in all systems had crash problems while playing. More specifically, on PS4 and Xbox One, some parts of these same players had problems of not-crashing the game, but also of complete closure of the system. And since the stop is not properly performed, there is a chance every time the unit is damaged.
That said, apparently if you're on PS4, you can actually get a refund for the game. In the same Reddit article, another user commented that Sony was fully aware of the problem and that it was therefore distributing repayments. To test this person's statements, another Reddit user contacted PlayStation Technical Support and attempted to obtain a refund. And apparently, not only has it worked, but the help provided has been the cause.
As you may know, Sony does not do it often. It actually has a fairly strict numerical return policy on which it bends very rarely. In fact, the last time I can think of this was with No Man's Sky, which players could come back on the principle of false advertising.
Of course, Anthem do not crush that way for everyone. Most people have little or no problem with the game.
Anthem is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. For more coverage on the new BioWare online game, click here. For what we think of the new title, consult our official critic. Here is an excerpt from it:
"Although at first glance, BioWare Anthem seems to be something totally different, his latest adventure does a phenomenal job mixing a new experience while retaining BioWare's well-known flavor of character depth and narrative design. Unfortunately, although it's nice, it does not mean it's flawless. "
