George Foreman's daughter, Freeda Foreman, apparently committed suicide. The 42-year-old athlete, who followed her father's footsteps after a short boxing career, was found dead this weekend at her home in Houston by a family member. She would have hanged herself.
George spoke to Twitter about his grief over the loss of his daughter, whom he had already paid to stop boxing "because he was not happy that she was in the ring." "First Sunday of 42 years without my Freeda. She is with her creator now, "he wrote.
Freeda retired with a 5-1 record after her first defeat in 2001. Our condolences go out to the family.
