PHILADELPHIA – He's back.
The Philadelphia Eagles acquired DeSean Jackson from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, ESPN league sources said, bringing the receiver to deep threats with the team that drafted him in 2008.
Sources told ESPN Sunday that the Bucs were actively buying Jackson and that Philadelphia was his desired landing point.
The Eagles have agreed to redevelop Jackson's contract with a $ 27 million contract over three years, according to a source. Jackson will get $ 13 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Jackson was to earn $ 10 million in 2019 for the final year of his $ 33.5 million three-year contract with the Bucs.
In addition to Jackson, the Eagles are getting a seventh round pick in 2020, while a sixth round pick in 2019 is heading toward the Buccaneers, a source told Mortensen.

Jackson, 32, was an Eagles second-round pick in 2008 and spent his first six seasons in Philadelphia, where he averaged 59 shots, over 1,000 yards and five touchdowns a year. Coach Chip Kelly cut him bluntly in March 2014 following a career year in which Jackson scored 1,332 yards on receptions and nine touchdowns.
Nevertheless, Philly was his favorite destination, according to a source.
On Monday, Jackson turned to social media to say goodbye to Tampa before announcing an agreed exchange.

Last month, Bucs new coach Bruce Arians sat down for a long time with Jackson. According to one conversation, Arians said during an NFL scouting session that "it was impossible".
