Hometown Food Company recalls specific batches of its unbleached all-purpose flour Pillsbury as it may be contaminated with salmonella.

Affected flour was sold in Publix and Winn-Dixie stores.

According to a recall notice posted on Winn-Dixie's website, "no case of illness associated with this recall has been reported".

The Recall Notice Publix states that "12,185 Pillsbury unbleached all purpose flour products were distributed through a limited number of retailers and distributors nationwide. ".

The lot numbers of the bags concerned are 8,292 and 8,293, the best numbers being April 19, 2020 and April 20, 2020.

"Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them," reads the Publix recall notice. "These products must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase for a refund."

No other Pillsbury product is concerned with the recall.

Hometown Food Company acquired Pillsbury's bakery and dessert product in September. The holding company of Brynwood Partners VII LP and Brynwood Partners VIII LP owns Hometown, according to the Brynwood Partners website.
