Spotify Premium now includes a free subscription to Hulu's advertising-funded plan. This benefit comes into effect today and is available to new users and existing users of the Spotify Premium Streaming Service in the United States. Following the recent Netflix price hike, Hulu has reduced the cost of its advertising-funded package to $ 5.99 per month. Now, Spotify users will benefit from additional savings.
To take advantage of this offer, new Spotify users can sign up now. Just make sure to enable Hulu on the "Your Services" page in the account settings. If you already use Hulu via Spotify, you have nothing to do to start saving $ 3 more per month. However, if you subscribe to Hulu and you do not have a Spotify account yet, you will have to cancel your billing via Hulu and then configure it via Spotify to receive the discount.
Unlike Spotify's $ 4.99 per month student package, which includes Hulu's limited commercial package, as well as the Showtime channel and music streaming service, its new promotion does not include other free extras. In fact, this prevents you from adding premium channels, such as Showtime or HBO, to your account. (You will have to find another way to look Game of thrones April.) It is also a disappointment that this agreement excludes those who have a family plan. But for all other users in the United States, you will need to act before June 10, 2019, by which time Spotify will close the offer.
