At least 40 people, including two Hollywood actresses, have been indicted by the FBI and the US Attorney's Office in Boston as part of a cheating scandal during the examination of entry to the university, reported NBC News, citing court documents.
The documents, which were unsealed on Tuesday morning, allege that the accused was intended to facilitate the entry of students into high-level schools, such as Georgetown, Stanford, UCLA, Yale, the University of Texas, the University of San Diego, the University of Southern California and the Wake Forest as athletes recruited regardless of their athletic abilities.

One of the court's unsealed documents included indictments against former Yale University football coach Rudolph "Rudy" Meredith, charged with two counts of wire fraud.
Prosecutors allege that Meredith conspired with William Rick Singer, owner of Edge College & Career Network, also known as "The Key", to take bribes to parents of college hopefuls.
In one case, Meredith and Singer worked together for one Yale candidate, who had no experience in competitive football, to have a sports profile that would have described her as a "co-captain of a major South club football team". California."
