Regulators in China, Mexico, Indonesia, Australia and the United Kingdom have all landed. On Tuesday, a Vietnamese regulator said it would not allow Boeing 737 Max aircraft into the country, according to the Xinhua news agency. Vietnamese companies had ordered Boeing to buy the aircraft last month at the Trump summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi.

Boeing's shares fell sharply as it was questioned about the company's new popular jetliner. Shares of the company lost 6% in morning trading on Tuesday.

Boeing announced Monday that a software update was in preparation and that it would be ready in April. Boeing did not respond to a request for comment on the president's tweets on Tuesday.
