We could know a little more about the foldable potential Motorola Razr V4 phone, including its decent specifications but not wildly impressive. The device will ship a Snapdragon 710 processor, a RAM and a very poor storage and will have a battery of less than 3,000 mAh, said a source XDA developers.
In other words, the performance of the Razr foldable product can be average, compared to the high-level specifications built into the folding devices planned for this year, such as the Samsung Fold and Huawei Mate X.
According to the sources of XDA Developers, the phone will have two variants of RAM and storage (the proposed configurations are not clear): 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage.
The source of XDA said that the phone would come with a battery of 2,730 mAh, which is well below those of the Samsung Fold and Huawei Mate X. But it is essential to remember that the foldable screen of Motorola should have a smaller screen, which does not unfold in large screens the size of a tablet as its rivals.

You open the way to a potentially cheaper folding option?
Until now, foldable phones have been specified and sold at a price higher than that of flagship brands, and their emergence has essentially introduced a new cost cap for mobile devices.
Unfortunately, this phone is no exception. According to an article published earlier in 2019 in the Wall Street Journal, which announced the launch of the Razr collapsible rumor factory, the starting price of Motorola's device was about $ 1,500 (about 1 £ 170, or AU $ 2,010), which in theory is cheaper and much cheaper than the Mate X, but is still well beyond what even mainstream products cost.
Yet there is a glimmer of hope. If you believe these specifications, then the Razr V4 foldable phone could prove that you do not need the best specifications on the market to put a foldable phone on the market. There could be a legitimate mid-range foldable phone that works with a mid-level processor and medium specifications.
This could bring down the collapsible prices of their astronomical peaks and ultimately give consumers more opportunities to try new devices for themselves.
And they have, in fact, some interesting things to offer: A previous XDA report suggested that the Razr V4 could have a second screen that would also serve as a trackpad when the phone was unfolded. We do not know how it would work, but the possibility is exciting.
